Set in over 400 acres of beautiful Cheshire farmland, The Lambing Shed is built on a proud farming heritage. The building itself was once home to the sheep reared by Farmer Arnold Mitchell and his son Michael over 60 years ago. Today, that tradition lives on with a flock of over 2,500 sheep and a herd of 250 beef cattle, all cared for by the Mitchell family.

Since opening in 2015, The Lambing Shed has been a place to celebrate the very best of our own home-reared, award-winning beef and lamb, alongside a carefully curated selection of Cheshire’s finest food and drink.

We also love opening our gates for special events throughout the year, inviting the community to share in everything we’re passionate about – from food and farming to family fun. Whether you're visiting for a relaxed lunch, to browse the shop, or to take part in one of our events, there's always something to enjoy at the farm.
