It’s best to wear comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear, as you’ll be on your feet and you will be walking around the lambing shed. Wellies or boots are a good choice, especially if it’s muddy! Bring a coat if it is a cold day as each slot is an hour long
Unfortunately, bottle feeding is not allowed at this event. Our lambs are fed naturally by their mothers, and it's important to respect the bonding process between them. The ewes are closely monitored to ensure their lambs are getting the proper nutrition and care. However, there will still be plenty of opportunities to interact with the lambs and learn about their care from our knowledgeable farmers!
Yes! Depending on the age and temperament of the lambs, there will be opportunities to hold them under the guidance of our staff. We'll make sure both you and the lamb are comfortable during the experience.
We cannot guarentee this but there is a very high chance that you will as all lambs in the lambing shed will be due to give birth around that time
You’ll have a 30-minute session in the main lambing barn at Moseley Hall Farm, where we care for all our sheep. Farmer Ruth will guide you through the barn, where you might witness live lamb births, hear interesting facts about our lambs, and learn everything there is to know about the lambing process. Next, you'll head to our nursery barn, where you'll have the chance to cuddle some of our lambs, snap plenty of great photos, and discover what happens after the lambs are born.
We advise that pregnant women do not attend. There is a risk that coming into contact with sheep and lambs during pregnancy may cause health complications. Please contact your Dr or chek out the NHS website for more details
For the safety and comfort of the ewes and lambs, we ask that you leave pets at home. This helps keep the lambs and ewes stress-free.
Our conservatory area is dog friendly so if you have someone not attending the event they can sit with your dog in the cafe and enjoy our delicious food and drink served in our cafe
Tickets are non refundable, if you can no longer attend please feel free to pass on the tickets to a friend or family member. We do not need to be informed of this.
If you want to move the date / time please check your email confirmation for a link to Manage Your Booking, where you can change your slot online. If you don not have this link feel free to contact our team where we will do our best to change your booking for you
